Respect formed in early 1997 with nine like minded musicians who wanted to entertain. After six hard years work the bands popularity has grown enormously and have the best line up you'll ever see and hear from a soul band in this country. Respect are guaranteed to make your event a night to remember with thier outstanding musical talent and stage presence by the end of the first number your feet will be tapping, by mid set you'll find that the music will take control and will be unable to do anything else but get up and boogie!

Respect have entertained at many prestigious events, holiday centres, military establishments and festivals over the years and are just finishing summer season within Butlins and British Holidays, although the work still continues throughout the winter for many adult holiday centres. Through performing at these events Respect have played along side and supported many well known artistes and celebrities: Heatwave, The Pasadenas, Edwin Starr and the Team, Billy Lewis and the Drifters, Tim Vincent and Leslie Joseph to name a few.

Respect have pride in themselves as they use no artificial aids in thier music, all is live and they have managed to keep to the origional sounds of soul. The music covers a range from the early '60's up to near present day. You'll hear songs from the likes of Ottis Redding, James Brown, Aretha Frankin, The Comittments, The Blues Brothers, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas plus many, many more.
