Groove-a-licious is an 12-piece soul/funk band based in Taunton which has set out to use their 5 piece brass section (2 trumpets, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, and Baritone Sax) to its fullest and look beyond the reams of "The Commitments" for their material

Made up of a very mixed age range the band has put together a large number of tracks which are both soulful and funky, priding ourselves of picking material that is both well known, but not usually played by other live bands. Our extensive set list consists of material from artists such as Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Michael Jackson, Average White Band, Earth Wind and Fire, etc etc.

Of course the band realises that the public will want to also hear the "classic tunes" which is why we also blend the set with tracks from the likes of Sam and Dave, Wilson Picket, Otis Reading, Marvin Gaye to name but a few

The band is professional in both its appearance and sound. We can provide backing and interlude music, as well as a full lighting rig and sound engineer for the bands performance
