function band with both professional, and semi professional musicians, now
in its 9th year,
providing a mix of classic sounds; Funky Soul, Eye popping Disco and Sublime
Ska,
topped off with some Rock and Roll and smooth ballads
Area
52 has played at weddings, dances, corporate functions, naval bases, charity
balls and events, beer festivals and open air parties,
all packed with a mix of sounds and rhythms that get people up and dancing.
Area 52 mainly play private functions and parties/weddings but just occasionally,
are let loose on the general public at bigger events.
This Band has more live energy than 7 cans of Red Bull and can make any function
jump from start to finish.
Since the Band's inception in 2000, Area 52 has gigged all over the South
West of England. A blend of experience and youth,
coupled with enthusiasm and musical drive, ensures the best for any function.

I would just like to make it known to everyone just what a fantastic, rocking
night we had with Area 52 on the 7th June.
Everyone in the band deserves a huge pat on the back for what I felt was the
best live band performance that I have heard in a long time.
The range of instruments used and song choice was absolutely great, i especially
loved Brown Sugar and Son of a Preacherman, well done everyone
